How To White List Your Email Addresses |
Delivery of emails has become extremely uncertain due to the proliferation of spam filtering at Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and Spam Filter services. Most email addresses are now filtered, either with or without your consent.
This can result in many of the emails (especially newsletters) requested by you not being received. To overcome this you need to take positive steps to white list the emails you want to receive.
White listing takes only a few minutes and is really only a matter of letting your ISP or Spam Filter service know that you want to receive email from a certain domain or email address. The procedure to white list will vary from ISP to ISP and from Spam Filter to Spam Filter.
For example the steps to white list Yahoo email addresses are much shorter than the steps to white list Hotmail addresses, although the end result will be the same.
Below you can find general information on how to white list your trusted email addresses along with specific details for most of the major ISPs and spam filters.
Procedures change so this information may not always be up to date for your ISP or spam filter. If you find a discrepancy, please let us know so that we can update it.
To help your subscribers to receive your valuable newsletter and emails you are free to direct them to this resource page.
If your ISP or spam filter is not listed and you can provide us with the required details in a similar format, please send them to us and we will list them so that this resource can be maintained as a complete and accurate listing for everyone's use.

Alternatively, you can just send an e-mail to the email address you want to white list, and that will add the email address to your "People I Know" list automatically.
This option will work even if you have not already received an email or newsletter from the email address you want to white list, provided you know the email address that you want to white list
Many senders use a "non-reply" email address for sending out their newsletters because of the problems with spam. However it doesn't matter if your email gets through to them or not. The act of sending it adds the email address to your "People I Know" list automatically.
